Guacamole

Who here loves guacamole? Well, I certainly do! Although my guacamole recipe changes every time I make it, depending on what I have in the house and also what my mood is, the best is always the simplest recipe. For this guac, I used three ripe avocados, make sure that you are using them when they are at the perfect stage. To tell, you should be able to give them a slight squeeze and the stem at the top should pop off with a little pressure. If the stems come off with just a touch, then the avocado is too ripe, or even if they don't come off at all, they aren't ripe enough. To the bowl, I added the juice of one lime-- I like it zesty! Add in a pinch of salt, pepper, and red chili flakes to give it some heat. Tear off some cilantro leaves and give them a rough chop. Toss everything together and top with an extra sprinkle of red chili flakes and cilantro. Enjoy!
