Baked Sweet Potato Fries

I have to be honest here-- french fries are my guilty pleasure! Although I strive to eat healthy and wholesome foods, I just can't pull myself away from golden fried potato goodness. Baked french fries, though, are pretty much just baked potato, right? Or, at least we can justify it that way! I top my sweet potato fries with some spices, and herbs to give it a little more flavor. Here's the recipe:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Wash and cut a sweet potato (or two) into long strips. Toss together with extra virgin olive oil and a dash of sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. The smokiness of the paprika complements the sweet potato really well! Bake in the oven until the fries are golden and tender. This will take around 20 minutes depending on how thinly you slice the potato. Make sure to keep an eye on them and turn them occasionally so they can cook evenly.

When serving, add on a sprinkle of chopped cilantro and another pinch of sea salt. Enjoy!
