I'll be honest that I can not stop thinking about this meal, even a couple weeks after I ate at Denden in Providence, RI. The amount of flavor in just about everything was incredible. It was punchy, funky, and savory.

We started the meal with Sunomono, a chilled cucumber salad with citrus vinegar dressing. To my surprise it had a slight smokey flavor which contrasted against the sour undertones.

This was also my first time trying bibimbap, to which I added teriyaki chicken and a fried egg. My favorite part of this was probably the rice underneath. The sides became golden brown and crispy from the hot stone pot.
