Hāna Harvest Café: Hana, HI

The legendary "Road to Hana" along Maui's north coast is most known for its breathtaking views and hairpin turns. We zipped in and out of the mountains, passed by tens of waterfalls, and stopped by the Hana Harvest Cafe.

The menu was quite small, but had items like pizza, guacamole, and chili. We ordered a half and half pizza -- veggie and Maui beef brisket with pineapple. The freshly wood-fired pizza definitely hit the spot after a morning of driving. The brisket had a deep and rich flavor, which was balanced by the sweet pineapple. The veggie side was topped with an avocado crema, which added a nice level of acidity to the pie.

I would definitely recommend checking this place out as a pit stop on the Road to Hana. But, make sure you don't miss the hidden entrance!
